Jun 2026 · TexpoART 2026 — Order and Chaos 7th International Textile Art Triennial · Iași, Romania · 10–30 June 2026. Sponsored by the National University of Arts "George Enescu" and the Romanian Union of Visual Artists (U.A.P.R. Iași). Galleries: U.A.P.R. Iași and Aparte Gallery, UNAGE Iași. Selected work in a juried international textile art triennial. Exhibition theme: Order and Chaos.

Jun 2026 · Doctoral Summer Showcase 2026 — Loop by Loop: An Introduction to Textile Making School of Design and Creative Arts, Loughborough University. Interactive exhibition inviting visitors to try the basics of knitting using handmade circular looms, rolling knitting machines, and traditional needles. Designed to make textile making approachable and playful for non-specialist audiences.

Textile poster designs continue its international journey as part of the 2nd International Poster Exhibition Threads of Creativity, exhibited from 15–17 May 2026 at The Gray Box, GMBB Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, within the programme Steadfastness: Existence is Resistance.

Organised by the Department of Design and Applied Arts at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie (Al-Aroub Branch), in collaboration with the University of Porto / ID+ Research Institute for Design, Media and Culture, the exhibition brought together around 60 international designers and artists responding to Palestinian Tatreez motifs through contemporary visual language.

Nov 2025 · Threads of Creativity — 2nd International Poster Exhibition Bab IdDeir Art Gallery, Bethlehem, Palestine · 25–27 November 2025. Curated by Belal Herbawi. Collaboration between PTUK Kadoorie, University of Porto, and ID+ Research Institute for Design, Media and Culture. Textile poster engaging with Palestinian Tatreez embroidery motifs, exploring how traditional patterns translate from fabric to a digital textile grid. Shown alongside work by around 60 international designers.

Nov 2025 · Canvas of Culture 2025 — International Day LSU Lounge, Loughborough University. Painting honouring Mauritian heritage through colour symbolism: sea, sand, sugarcane, and the colours of sega dancing. Awarded a sustainability prize.

Jun 2025 · Doctoral Summer Showcase 2025 — The Weight of Thread Loughborough University. 20 June 2025. Interactive Exhibition. Practice-based piece exploring the contrast between mass and delicacy, weaving threads around stones collected during travel. Awarded Interactive Exhibition Winner and People's Choice

May 2025 · Pint of Science 2025 — Creative Reactions Gallery Loughborough Town · 19–21 May 2025. Public exhibition coordinated as Theme Manager, pairing artists with researchers.

Apr 2025 · The Five Pillars of Islam Loughborough University · April 2025. Curated by Dr. Kerri Akiwowo with the Aziz Foundation. Contribution: Diwani-script piece, an intertwined Arabic calligraphy form historically used for royal Ottoman decrees, paired with the artist's late mother's prayer beads as a meditation on inherited memory and faith.

Jun 2024 · Doctoral Summer Showcase 2024 — Poster Presentation Loughborough University · 19 June 2024. Poster: Degree Showcases — A Study of Textile-Design Education in the United Kingdom. Awarded Poster Exhibition People's Choice and Runner-Up (Accessibility and Inclusion).

May 2024 · Pint of Science 2024 — Creative Reactions Gallery Loughborough Town · 15 May 2024. Public exhibition of doctoral research at the Pint of Science festival.

Jun 2024 · Doctoral Summer Showcase 2024 — Textile Visionaries Loughborough University · 19 June 2024. Interactive Exhibition. Interactive textile piece staged as a public weaving session. Awarded Interactive Exhibition Winner and People's Choice.



2023

Oct – Nov 2023 · Black Heritage: Narratives of Diaspora — Mauritian Sega Dance Top and Skirt LU Arts, Loughborough University · 16 October – 10 November 2023. Curated in collaboration with Dr. Kerri Akiwowo for Black History Month. Textile work honouring the African diaspora in Mauritius. The Sega emerged among enslaved Africans on the island and continues to carry cultural memory: a dance of both sorrow and joy, drawing on African, Creole, and Indian influences.

Jun 2023 · Vice-Chancellor's Art Collection — Tree of Life Loughborough University · Vibrant and Inclusive Communities Art Competition · 12 June 2023. Painting acquired into the Vice-Chancellor's Art Collection. The work depicts a tree of life with deep roots and a woman standing beside it — together imagining an inclusive and diverse learning environment.

Apr – Aug 2023 · Sneakers: Portuguese Brands from the Estado Novo to the Turn of the Millennium University of Porto, Portugal · 10 April – 27 August 2023. Organised by Investigação em Design e Arte and ID+ (Institute of Research in Design, Media and Culture). Textile work shown as part of an exhibition tracing the history of Portuguese sneaker manufacturing. Contributed up-cycled textiles used in Portuguese Amalgams (Anti-Amnesia project).

2011

May 2011 · Mauritius Fashion Tour — 3rd Edition (Heat Fashion Tour) — Grand Finale Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre (SVICC), Pailles, Mauritius · May 2011. Organised by Heat Agency. The Lantern Dress: fully designed and constructed garment, selected by University of Mauritius lecturers for exhibition at the festival's grand finale on the strength of its design and making.

May 2011 · Miss Mauritius 2011 — Designer Commission Mauritius Fashion Tour, Heat Agency · Caudan (7 May), Phoenix Commercial Centre (14 May), and Trianon Shopping Park (21 May) 2011. Designed and sewn two complete outfits worn by contestants in the Miss Mauritius competition during the Heat Fashion Tour shopping-centre dates.
